Optimist Law Expo

As part of Respect for Law Week, the Merrill Optimist Club’s Law Expo, formerly known as Law Fair, will be held Friday, May 1, at the Prairie River Middle School (PRMS) in Merrill, WI. The Law Expo brings together representatives from all aspects of the law to interact with students with the Optimist purpose: “to promote an active interest in good government; to inspire respect for the law…” Students learn about the various agencies from our local, State and Federal legal systems and are exposed to career opportunities in these fields. **THIS IS AN OPTIMIST MEMBER ONLY EVENT,** and reaches approximately 200 students in grade eight from several schools in Merrill and Tomahawk. The event is held annually.
