DESCRIPTION:Ascension Good Samaritan Health Center will hold a free Community Health Fair on Saturday May 4.  This event will provide free health screenings and addtional information on the services available locally in Merrill.\n\nFeatured free health screensing include:\n\nCardiac Risk Assessment\n\nPulse Oximetry\n\nBalance and grip strength\n\nGlucose\, body mass index (BMI) and blood pressure\n\nFall Prevention\n\nSleep Disorders\n\nSpinal and Posture Screening\n\nHearing Testing\n\nPeripheral Vascular Disease\n\n\n\nInteractive displays and booths from the following areas of interest will also be on display:\n\nTelehealth\n\nAdvance Directives for Health Care\n\nHand Hygiene and Infection Prevention\n\nPrimary Care\n\nAlcohol and Drug Prevention\n\nCardiology\n\nComunity Care Paramedic Program\n\nFood and Nutrition Education\n\nTherapy Dogs\n\nSkin Care\n\nAt Home and Hospice Care\n\nMedication Disposal Kits will also be available\n\n\n\nIn addtion\, Ascension Good Samaritan Volunteers will be holding a plant sale and all attendees will have a chance to win one of two $500 Grocery gift Cards or several gift baskets and prizes.\n\nThese activities will feature clinicians\, associates and volunteers from Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital\, Ascension Medical Group and other affiliated groups and community coalition partners.
