Join us as local veteran and author Jim Servi discusses his debut novel, "Forever Changed." In Forever Changed, Jim Servi distills the global upheaval of the post-9/11 era into a visceral, boots-on-the-ground narrative. The novel offers a rare, panoramic view of the war in Afghanistan, bridging the gap between high-level geopolitical shifts and the gritty reality of the Afghan countryside—a perspective forged in the heat of firsthand combat. Jim Servi is a combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan who now resides in Hamburg, Wisconsin, with his wife and three sons. An accomplished journalist, his work has appeared in numerous publications, including Veterans of Foreign Wars magazine. Forever Changed marks his debut as a novelist. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Books will be available to purchase.
