• Explore our outdoor historic logging museum
• “Wildlife Ecology and Management in Wisconsin” presentation (Presented by Christian W. Cold, Wildlife Technician / Educator - Bureau of Wildlife Management - Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) *This presentation is with live animals!!! (1:00-2:00 inside the lodge)
• Live historic logging demonstration with Steve Lee and his horses! (11:00-12:00 outside in the lower parking lot)
• Cross Country Skiing (Last departure time at 2:00 p.m.)
• Snowshoeing
• Sledding
• Human Foosball
• Campfire – Roast a marshmallow or two!!!
• Tour the Animal Museum, and our Wisconsin Logging History Museum
• Tour the Cordwood Education Center
Lunch/snacks available in the main lodge from 11:00 to 12:30!

The Merrill School Forest is located on Hwy 107 (10 miles north of Merrill) across from Camp New Wood County Park. Cell phones rarely work at the forest. The lodge phone number is 715-536 -8248. Parking at the forest is limited. Additional parking is available across the road at Camp New Wood County Park.
