Dementia Basics is for family members, caregivers, or just anyone interested in learning more about dementia. This educational opportunity provided by staff from the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Central Wisconsin will give people some basic knowledge about dementia. Areas covered include the definition of dementia, the types of dementia, differences between normal aging and dementia, and how to offer support and make plans for the future when living with dementia.
