IMBD Celebration--Stopover Sites: Helping Birds Along The Way

Come celebrate birds at the 7th annual International Migratory Bird Day Celebration. The event starts at 6 a.m. with a guided birdwatching walk. Two additional walks will follow -- another bird walk at 7:30 a.m. and a wildflower/bird walk at 9 a.m. Activities throughout the day, designed for all ages, will include nature games, building of bird feeders and bird houses, and an afternoon bus tour of birding sites around Chequamegon Waters. A presentation with a vulture, hawk and owl will precede lunch.
