Merrill Historical Society Cemetery Tour
Join local historians Jane Francoeur and Wayne Vandre for a walk through history. The 2016 theme is "Women at Work and in Business". Featured women are Mabel Downie Wittman, Etta Noel Akey, Josephine Poirier, Jane Bierman, Bertha and Lillian Fleischfresser, and Evelyn Broecker.
Please Note:
- The tour is an hour and a half long, all spent walking and standing.
- Children under 12 won't find much to entertain them (no discounts).
- Park near the Merrill Memorial Park Sign and flagpole along Memorial Drive.
- Bring a flashlight to the 6pm tour.
