The scholarship in Kyle's name is a recurring scholarship, honoring all our Merrill High School scholarship applicants, recipients and their families...who have all been directly affected by cancer. The money raised has funded, and will continue to fund, annual scholarships for MHS graduates. From events 2013-2015, the REMEMBERING KYLE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND & THE REMEMBERING KYLE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ~ NIGHT OF MUSIC & SOUNDS event has funded 18 scholarships thus far! Our family holds this event to recognize and honor Merrill High School graduates and their families. Our family knows first hand what they've been through, which is many times loss of loved ones because of cancer, just like we've experienced in losing Kyle, as well as our children losing three of their grandparents, their uncle and their aunt...all to cancer. We are hoping that a scholarship will make even a small dent in our scholarship recipient's college education, knowing how cancer can create financial hardships and so much more for a family. On behalf of our family, and all the scholarship recipients and their families, we thank you for recognizing and supporting our family and their families.
