About Us

The start of the Pine River Fire Department was born with the heart and determination of a lifetime resident of Pine River, John Renken. The idea was to protect our community with a volunteer fire department. He found the strength in John Uttech, Heath Heidemann, and Marv Hartwig. With the help of these three men, the word was spread and the strength was growing. Their commitment and dedication is something to be proud of and thankful for. We thank them all for their determination.
