The church and school has a proud heritage of faithfully preaching Jesus Christ as the crucified and resurrected Son of God, our Savior here in Merrill for over 125 years. St. John Lutheran Church and Ministries is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). The ''Missouri'' part of our name is not a geographical marker but is a historic reference to our roots, reaching back into the 1830's.
