Please join us for a fun, all-day event in support of the (Brandtly) Clark Family of Merrill!
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐭𝐥𝐲:
Brandtly Clark-Son of Matt and Hailey Clark of Merrill-was diagnosed in November of 2021 (6 days after his 4th birthday) with Stage-4 Wilm's Tumor, which is a form of kidney cancer.
Brandtly underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatment and had his left kidney removed.
He was cancer-free for 1 year.
During his annual check-up, medical staff discovered a spot on Brandtly’s lung; later confirmed to be a relapse of Wilm's Tumor.
On July 24, 2023 Brandtly started a clinical trial with aggressive chemotherapy and eight ( rounds of radiation.
Brandtly receives treatment every 21 days.
Brandtly must be hospitalized 3-5 days at a time at Marshfield Clinic Children's Hospital, during which he is accompanied by his mom Hailey.
Brandtly has received several blood transfusions and platelet transfusions, with more to be expected. Hopefully, February will be the end of treatment and he can join his class at the end of the year in kindergarten.
Despite all he has been through, Brandtly has never stopped being adventurous.
His favorite hobbies are fishing with his parents and sister Rhea, searching for snakes & other critters, and having campfires to cook dinner and make smores for everyone!
